Built in 2003 by the German shipyard Lurssen Yard, the interiors included the expertise of designer Tim Heywood. Initially owned by an Arab skeikh and later sold to Mr. Abramovich, the boat underwent some major changes in its design and painting in 2007 according to what the Russian oligarch wanted. The yacht is powered by 2 Wartsila engines generating 5500 HP of power, making it cruise at 20 knots but is best suited for a cruise speed of 16 knots over a distance of 6000 nautical miles.
